Accommodations at the Ponderosa Ranch include a log lodge with a fireplace, dining room, TV, VCR and a bar-lounge complete with an old west pool table, jacuzzi and gift shop. Eight rustic log cabins with bedrooms and bathrooms are also available. Area activities include hiking, fishing, swimming and hunting from October through November. In the winter, the Ponderosa is open for horse-drawn sleigh rides, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. Guests at this ranch are invited to join in on the daily ranch activities including moving cattle on horse back.

The historic Bar M Ranch was originally a stage coach stop in the mid-1800s but today is a dude ranch in Oregon's Blue Mountains.
